Loss of Light...From:"Joseph & Sari Grove" <[email protected]>To:"Kristyn Wong-Tam" <[email protected]>, "kristyn wong-tam" <[email protected]>Date:Fri, 7 Oct 2011 9:49 AM (2 minutes 13 seconds ago)View as text - Show Raw MessageShow full headerHello, I am seeking $75,000.00 Cad. for loss of light proposed by construction approvals made by the previous Councillor to you at City Council...  The money should come from the developers as an additional amount for Section 37, the 30% skim based on increased property value expected for the planned, but skeptically approved condo tall building development on Moriyama's site across the street from 15 McMurrich, at the corner of McMurrich & Davenport road, north side, west corner... I tried to have Moriyama's property declared a heritage site...But I was told the approvals to developers were already in process, that it was too late...So they got plaques requested...Wow, plaques...Something I get removed at the dentist's office... We. all, protested the approval process... I told developers about induced seismicity caused by too much construction digging in one small area of downtown... We got $15K for the neighbour who got trashed, her house got trashed, directly from the developer, after having to argue & get approved that a 4 dwelling low income semi-detached was not much different in nature than a 6 dwelling low income semi-detached... This took much of our time...The councillors got cake from the other protesters for another development...Those protesters won their case, we did not... Is bringing cake really the way City Council wants to go with decisions? I think the new mayor wants to stop the gravy train...How about the cake train? How about the cake train that happened before he was elected? In any case, I'd like $75,000.00 for the lack of light that is going to affect our building, 15 McMurrich... You can give it to our board of directors... You can get that money from the developers... Or maybe you can disapprove this already approved condo tall building project based on the fact that lack of cake bringing was the reason we didn't win our case... Or not... But nobody is going to like living in an earthquake zone if they decide to continue trying to break ground... I will be suing City Council & current councillors & the developers & construction companies for seismic damages caused because they didn't heed my warnings... For the record, documented, was me writing to Earthquake Canada in Ottawa, before the big earthquake here in Toronto, telling them if they don't put out a warning about construction induced seismicity that construction approvals & breaking ground would continue, & so would big earthquakes...Chile, Haiti, & more... I think it is pretty obvious to any idiot that digging into the ground causes an earthquake...Maybe it is not obvious...Which is why I told everybody before the Toronto earthquake... We are now seismic, instead of micro-seismic... Sari Grove p.s. the name KWT Contemporary, though better than XEXE, is still hard for collectors to know...You could just call it Kristyn's or something else easier & people might actually be able to Google it...
